These are basically, fibral matting impregnated with abrasive and are available in coarse, medium and fine grades of aluminum oxide abrasive. They are extensively used for producing a satin-finish on most metals but more commonly are used for satinising stainless steel. They are also useful for cleaning up oxidised aluminium castings and zinc-based alloys.
Can also be used with bobbing grease or with polishes.Brings old motorcycle cases up like new. Sizes available: 150mm or 100mm dia. x 6 or 8 lap. (1 lap = 6mm approx.)
